Interior water control works extremely well for many customers. Depending on your circumstances, this may be an effective solution.
Note: Many water control companies claim to be waterproofers. If a company proposes opening the floor on the inside for any reason, they are offering a water control system. Waterproofing is accomplished only by an exterior excavation to the footer, which eliminates the need to do any work inside.
Never contract for a water control system if dampness and or cracking on the walls is your concern, as this may result in further damage to your foundation.

In the "overview of solutions" page in the above link, this paper concludes, the most effective of the interior water control methods is the perforated drain tile next to the footer. On top the floor , or on top of the footer drainage, allows water to remain in contact with the bottom of the wall and floor, which can increase dampness in your basement.
